VERY IMPORTANT : These are pick blanks and are usually cut from bark areas of the tusk for best color and grain effects as well as for strength. They may taper and may be mildly pick shaped. Do not buy these because you are making a chess board or some other project as these are cut to make pick blanks. We are experiencing folks buying these with other projects in mind and then complaining they are not suited to their project. Each of these will make a large oversize guitar pick but, again, they may taper ( most do not ) and may be heart or pick shaped to a small degree and most of them will likely be cut to include the bark area where one finds the color, grain and strength often sought after for picks.
